It’s a Fact

It’s difficult to negotiate after a Fact
It’s a Fact
Facts are like that!
They have little time for Theories
Being Facts they feel superior
And go around proving themselves
Facts take a dim view of Dreams
Because Dreams completely ignore them
And don’t respect reality
Facts are usually hard
And backed up by other Facts
Facts however
Are terrified of other Facts
They’re scared of being proved wrong
Cause if they are
They can’t be Facts
And it’s a Fact
Facts don’t like that!

A fact is always preceded by an other fact and followedby an other one. In french "tenant et aboutissant". In this case all fact is only a transition between two others.

I love this so much...what a fun way to admonish all those high and mighty persons who go around pronouncing the 'facts' of the world (which are bound to change at some time) which leads me to say -

Honey "IN FACT, NOTHING IS A FACT"

And us poets are the REAL brainy buggers (or so we like to believe...hee hee) because we dare to dream.

Sue - you are on a ROLL!

How wonderful!

I love this! You're so right about the fear that facts pack. And do you know why? Because facts exist on borrowed time, and time is ever changing.
:)

You're a very clever one sue!

Carba facts like statistics can be made to say almost anything, I like the French version best I may use it on irritating people to confuse them
