No Argument

Below is the best poem I’ve ever written

It alliterates attractively

Has imagery that illuminates the page

And Metaphors that melt in the mouth

Its similes shimmer like moon beams

And its perfect punctuation pauses it,

in all the right places…..

Unfortunately I’ve written it in invisible ink,

But it’s dead good honest!

Death is the last thing we live. All we go by a night without moonlight. We go without a sound. As we live. We go like our recollection, without crying. A last word for the lost humanity...

Right you are, Sue. A poem so about a lemon that the paper still smels like one. Loved it!
