About Me
- Name: Sue hardy-Dawson
- Location: Yorkshire, United Kingdom
I am a poet and artist who enjoys working with kids. I write lots every day and make the kids at school laugh by writing funny poems, drawing funny pictures of them and being a rotten speller. I have three cats, two rabbits, a (barking)dog, a few fish and three kids who are all older than me, or so they say. I like writing poetry and doing great big murals.

This is such a noble poem.
Thank you sue!
Interesting expansion of the ubiquitous "whatever" of tiny minds!!
Peace
I wish the whole world could better remember what you express so succinctly and effectively here, Sue!
Sue, I think castor and queen neetee are right. This is a bright and noble anthem to our commonly forgotten about humanity. Thanks!
Castor thank-you it is a shame society so often focuses on exturnal features and stereotypes and not on the things that really matter
Queen Neetee also a warm thank-you
Goatman-Hi thanks for dropping by-I thought a lot about the title-it's true that 'whatever has become the word to replace rational thoughts
Carba-it is true what you say there are race winners or those that exploit carelessly-but really they are losers too because they do not benifit from knowing people they have judged without knowing.
Mb it is so frustraiting when we look at our beautiful world and consider how it might be
Russel I think what most of us do is shut our eyes, I know I do-it's the vastness of the wrong it makes a small difference seem so pointless
You made my heart ache reading this poem...its true what castor said its an anthem of humanity...I can not thank you enough for brining such words togather..it made my impulse come out of me
A hug for your support and visit to my blog LIP
Nasra-always a pleasure to be introduced to so many new and interesting poets
It seeems we're more proud of our warts and oozing sores than what's good and pure. Well said Sue!!

Nessa thank-you, so are your words

Beautiful poem. I love it when kids whine "Whatever..." Makes me smile.
Whatever the colour of our skin
The length of our legs
The size of our nose
The thickness of our hair
The weight of our troubles
The shadows of our frown
The depths of our joy
The shape of our smile
Or the strength of our soul
We all walk the same earth
And when we cry
Our tears sound the same
amazing poem I will never forget it
